Error Requesting Bar Series: “Response status code does not indicate success: 400 ()

Sometimes we run into some quirks when we are trying to get TDAmeritrade data to play nice with NinjaTrader and this error code is a good example of it.

Awhile we back we had several members present this error to us; and, after some digging, we concluded that it was something on TDAM’s server side that was outside our control.

The good news was that it seemed to be isolated to members trying to view ETH charts on a holiday using TDAM data.

Now, if that is not the case, I suggest you double check that your preferred historical and real-time data is linked to the proper active data feed. In the video below, you can see how to make sure you’re ninjatrader platform is looking for data from the proper providers.
