My Indicators Do Not Match the Screenshare

From time to time, you may encounter a situation when your indicator values do not match what is displayed on Tim’s screenshare.

This could happen for a number of reasons, but we have narrowed down the most common culprits to be incorrect future settings and missing/corrupt chart data. Let’s start with futures settings:

Merge Non-Back Adjusted

Futures must be set to roll their contracts by enabling the merge non-back adjusted setting. We have tested both back-adjusted and non-back-adjusted extensively and have found more effiicacy to our edge using the non back adjusted merge policy. Therefore, if you would like your charts to match ours you will need to use non back adjusted. The video below will show you how to check or change your merge policy in NinjaTrader:

Corrupted or Missing Data

If your merge policy is set up correctly, the next thing you’ll want to do is clear the cache and existing chart data in your NinjaTrader 8 folder.

These two solutions should clear up your issues but if your indicators still are not matching after trying the above, please open a help ticket in #❓-help channel in discord.
